RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil registered this Sunday (18) 948 new deaths as a result of Covid-19, which brings the total number of fatal victims of the disease in the country to 542,214, the Ministry of Health said.
There were also 34,126 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 19,376,574, the ministry added.
According to Statista, the leading German company specializing in market and consumer data, Brazil ranks fourth in Latin America for deaths per million in the last seven days. It is better positioned than Colombia, Paraguay . . .
