Brazil records 1,548 new Covid deaths; total reaches 538,942 (July 15)

According to Statista, the leading German company specializing in market and consumer data, Brazil ranks fourth in Latin America in terms of deaths per million in the last seven days, and is better positioned than Colombia, Paraguay and Argentina.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil on Thursday reported 1,548 new deaths from Covid-19, bringing the total number of fatalities from the disease in the country to 538,942, the Health Ministry said.

There were also 52,789 new cases of coronavirus, with the total number of infections in the country advancing to 19,262,518, the folder added.
