RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil on Monday reported 202 new deaths from Covid-19, bringing the total number of fatalities from the disease in the country to 601,213, the Health Ministry said.
According to the ministry, there were also 6,918 new coronavirus cases, with the total number of infections in the country advancing to 21,582,738.
The numbers of Covid cases and deaths are lower on Sundays and Mondays due to the damming up of records on weekends.
According to the ministry, 286,856 Covid-19 patients are still being followed up in the country . . .
