RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Since 8 PM on Tuesday, Brazil recorded 7,963 new cases of infection by Covid-19, bringing the total figure to 1,939,167, according to a survey conducted by the consortium formed by the newspapers O Estado de S. Paulo, G1, O Globo, Extra, Folha de S.Paulo, and UOL.
In the same period, 183 deaths were reported, raising the death toll from the disease to 74,445.
The data are from a survey conducted by the media outlets with the State Health Secretariats.
