Brazil registers 33,933 new cases and 966 Covid deaths (August 13)
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil on Friday reported 966 new deaths as a result of Covid-19, bringing the total number of fatalities from the disease in the country to 567,862, the Health Ministry said.
The ministry added that there were also 33,933 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 20,319,000.
The federal government still reports 19,173,917 people recovered from the disease and 577,221 patients in follow-up.
