RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil registered in the last 24 hours 115,228 confirmed cases, a new record of contagions, and 2,392 deaths due to coronavirus, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Since the first infection, on February 26 last year, and the first death, on March 12, both in São Paulo, the country now has 18,169,881 confirmed cases and a total of 507,109 deaths associated with covid-19.
The previous record was set on March 25, with 100,736 positive diagnoses . . .
