RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil, one of the countries hardest hit by the pandemic, recorded 2,408 new deaths and 78,926 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday.
Since the confirmation of the first case of covid-19 in the country in February 2020, the South American giant already has 465,199 deaths and 16,624,480 infected, according to the most recent data released by the Ministry.
