Brazil’s Fernando de Noronha will demand proof of vaccination from October

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Fernando de Noronha, one of Brazil's most popular tourist destinations, will require proof of full vaccination to be presented upon entering the island from October 1. People who have only had the first vaccine dose will need to submit a negative Covid-19 test performed 48 hours before boarding.

Proof of vaccination is available through the Conecte SUS Cidadão, Conecta Recife, or Passe Verde apps.

The island now has its adult population fully vaccinated with the 2 doses and registered no Covid-19 case this month for the 5th time.
