São Paulo State to Close Restaurants, Malls on Christmas and New Year’s Holidays

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Brazil’s São Paulo state government announced only essential services are allowed to open between December 25-27th and between January 1-3rd, amid growing rates of Covid-19 contamination.

Restaurants and shopping malls will be required to stay closed, São Paulo state secretary Patricia Ellen said in a press conference on Tuesday.
