RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The total number of people infected with the coronavirus during the pandemic stands at 5.8 million. Between Thursday and Friday, the health authorities notified 29,070 new positive diagnoses for Covid-19, totaling 5,810,652.
The update was released by the Ministry of Health on Friday evening, November 13th. Yesterday, the portfolio also issued a statement explaining that the challenges in updating this week's figures were due to an issue in the computerized systems that could be a cyber attack.
