RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health's daily report on the novel coronavirus pandemic, released yesterday, August 13th, reported 1,262 deaths and 60,091 cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours by the state Health Secretariats.
It was the day, since the start of the pandemic with the third-highest daily number of new infections. On July 22nd, there were 67,860 cases and 69,074 on July 29th.
With yesterday's numbers, the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic reached 105,463. On Wednesday, August 12th, the Ministry's panel reported 104 . . .
