RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Since the start of the pandemic, 2,801,921 Brazilians have been infected with the virus. The total number of deaths now stands at 95,819. There are 3,600 deaths under investigation.
In the past 24 hours, 51,603 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 1,154 deaths related to the novel coronavirus pandemic have been recorded.
The figures are included in yesterday's daily balance, August 4th, released by the Ministry of Health.
