RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has reached 4.9 million cumulative cases of infection by the novel coronavirus. In the past 24 hours, there have been 26,310 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, totaling 4,906,833. Up to Friday, the total number of pandemic cases stood at 4,880,523.
