Covid-19: Brazil Records 690 Deaths and Highest Daily Case Average Since August

The country recorded 690 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, reaching a total of 181,143 fatalities since the start of the pandemic. Accordingly, the rolling daily average of deaths in Brazil in the past seven days stood at 643.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The media outlets consortium released a new survey of the coronavirus pandemic situation in Brazil based on data from state Health Secretariats, consolidated at 8 PM on Saturday, December 12th.

The country recorded 690 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, reaching a total of 181,143 fatalities since the start of the pandemic. Accordingly, the rolling average of deaths in Brazil in the past seven days stood at 643. There was a +23% variation compared to the average of 14 days ago, showing an upward trend in deaths from the disease.
