At the Health and Welfare Committee session he also said it is very unlikely that there will be any prevention with a long-lasting impact. "We'll need to have an ongoing vaccination round," he said.
As an example, the Professor cited polio. "Look at how many problems they have had to eradicate polio, for instance; that eradication programme has been in place for 15 years and they are not there yet . . .
