Daily cases of Covid-19 in El Salvador continue to rise in August (August 5)

The country registered less than 10 deaths per day to 16 deaths on July 30, and 14 on July 29, figures that the local press places as the highest so far in 2021.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The increase in daily infections of covid-19 that began last June in El Salvador is maintained in the first days of August, according to official data.

According to the records of the governmental site covid19.gob.sv, between August 1 and 4, the number of daily official cases was up to 297, similar to those recorded last January.

The figures of the above-mentioned site show an increase in the number of daily reports of infections, which went from 134 cases on June 1 to 291 on August 4.
