Mexico’s President expects to conclude vaccination against Covid-19 by October

Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that "more brigades are being formed and more vaccination centers will be installed to be able to fulfill this purpose of finishing in October all the vaccinations".

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced this Tuesday, May 18, an expansion of vaccination points to conclude the immunization of the entire population next October.

"We want to finish the vaccination by October, well before winter begins. That is the general plan," he said in his morning press conference at the National Palace together with health authorities.

The President said that "more brigades are being formed and more vaccination centers will be installed to be able to fulfill this purpose of finishing in October all the vaccinations."
