Peru again authorizes inbound flights from Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Peru on Saturday, September 4, lifted the suspension on flights from Brazil and India. in force for over 4 months, while extending the ban on flights from South Africa due to the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the government said.

The measure will remain in force until September 19 under the rule that excluded Brazil and India for the first time since health authorities in December drew up a list of countries at high risk of exporting new variants of the coronavirus.
