Rio de Janeiro relaxes restrictions on individual and collective activities in the city

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On April14, the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, issued a decree permitting the practice of individual and collective activities in squares, parks, beaches and streets of the city, as well as open spaces of common use in private areas, when guided by physical education professionals "provided they do not generate crowds and meet the measures to protect life. The decree was published in the Municipal Gazette.
