São Paulo is Brazil’s first state to vaccinate over half of its population with first dose

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The pandemic and vaccination figures in Brazil as compliled by the media outlet consortium show that 1,083,286 people been administered the first dose in 24 hours and 511,927 the second dose or the single-dose vaccine. The day totaled 1,595,213.

So far, 90,026,281 people have been administered the first dose in the country, representing 42.51% of the population, and 34,357,342 people are fully immunized with the two doses or the single dose, representing 16.22% of Brazilians.
