With 2,009 deaths in the last 24 hours, Brazil surpasses 300,000 Covid-19 fatalities (March 24th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - As Brazil faces one of the worst moments of the Covid-19 pandemic, with several states reporting collapse in the health care system, the country reached 300,000 COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, March 24th.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, 2,009 deaths from the new coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours and, with this, the total reached 300,685.
