Carnival bloco Cumbia Calavera will be rehearsing outdoors, and everyone is invited to join the party. The group is known for playing Latin American traditional rhythms, especially the variations of cumbia music.

Sem Vintém (Bixiga) – Located in the bohemian neighborhood of Bixiga, Casa Barbosa (photo) is one of the great samba houses from the region.
Tonight, Casa Barbosa will host group Sem Vintém, which will be playing the best of samba de raiz, including Cartola, Nelson Cavaquinho, Manacéa, Monarco, Ismael Silva, and Ataulpho Alves.
