Argentina finalizes “intensive” measures to face second Covid-19 wave

Argentina's Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, confirmed that the country has already entered the second wave of Covid-19 infections and that "localized, intensive and transitory" measures will be finalized today.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - "With this sustained and accelerated increase in the number of cases, the second wave is already a fact," said Vizzotti in a press conference.

The minister indicated that "what is happening in Argentina does not exceed the global context", mentioning the increase of cases that led to strict confinements in the northern hemisphere and the stress and overload of the health system in neighboring countries.

This Tuesday afternoon, the national government's political and sanitary authorities of the province of Buenos Aires and the Argentine capital will meet again after meeting yesterday to make a diagnosis . . .
