RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Consumer prices in Argentina registered last April a 4.1 % increase compared to last March and a 46.3 % year-on-year rise, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) reported on Thursday.
The evolution of prices in April revealed a slight slowdown compared to March, when inflation was 4.8 %, the highest rate since September 2019.
According to the official report released on Thursday, goods last month had a positive variation of 4.7 % compared to March, while services rose by 2.5 %, data that amount to 54 % and 30.4 %, respectively, in the year-on-year comparison.
