Panama Canal expected to contribute in 2022 more than US$2.5 billion to public coffers

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Panama Canal expects to collect revenues of US$4,2 billion in the fiscal year 2022 and make a contribution of US$2,5 billion to the Central American country's public coffers, the largest in its history.

This is reflected in the Canal's budget approved on Wednesday night by the plenary of the National Assembly in its third debate.
