Chile open its borders: Who can enter the country starting today?
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – As of this Monday, November 1, Chile allows the entry of foreign visitors for tourism. The Chilean government announced that it is open to all tourists worldwide who comply with the measures established in its “Protected Borders” plan.
Chile joins the decision of Argentina and Uruguay to open its borders to foreign tourists as of today. CHILEANS AND FOREIGN RESIDENTS
They may enter the country through any border crossing with their affidavit in C19.cl and a negative PCR up to 72 hours before boarding.
If they do not have their Mobility Pass, they are obliged to carry out a quarantine of seven days, both for them and the persons cohabiting in their residence. This means that no one may enter or leave the declared domicile to complete the isolation during that period.

FOREIGNERS
All foreigners wishing to enter Chile have already validated their vaccination schedule on the website mevacuno.gob.cl, must submit an affidavit at least 48 hours before boarding on the website C19.cl.
They must have a negative PCR up to 72 hours before the trip.
They must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of USD$30,000.
Upon entering the country, they must be kept in isolation until they have the result of the PCR test performed after entering Chile.
Foreigners who have the certificate of validation of vaccines issued will be allowed to enter Chilean territory.
