Chile says manufacturing, copper output down in February

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Chile’s manufacturing output dropped 0.6% year on year in February, government statistics agency INE said on Wednesday, as the coronavirus pandemic continued to drag on production in the world’s top copper producer.

The country’s copper output fell 4.8% to 430,100 tonnes in February, the agency said . . .
