Covid-19: Colombia launches digital vaccination certificate; projects 41 million vaccinated

The digital certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 has the following features: It can be downloaded and printed; it contains a QR code (which guarantees its authenticity and reliability); it is free of charge and is issued in English or Spanish.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Colombian President Iván Duque and Health Minister Fernando Ruiz today (1) announced the entry into force of the so-called Covid-19 digital vaccination certificate.

According to the Colombian leader, the digital vaccination certificate is a "private document that belongs to the citizen" and contains information about the vaccination process and certifies whether the person has received one or two doses of the biological vaccine against Covid-19.
