RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Javier Berain made history by becoming the first homosexual to lead a police department in Mexico City. The Mexican patrol has been known to harass LGBTQIA+ people.
"It's an honor to be the first openly LGBTI+ individual to be assigned the role of leader in the Mexico City police department," the policeman celebrated.
