CABEI to grant Argentina US$50 million to address gender-based violence

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) announced on Tuesday, March 2nd, that it will invest US$50 million to support the creation of 14 comprehensive territorial centers for gender and diversity policies in Argentina.

The centers will be built in the 23 provinces and in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, according to the CABEI press office in Tegucigalpa.

It noted that the centers are designed to provide facilities for training, prevention and promotion of gender equality, as well as to house women affected by gender-based violence and their children.
