RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A makeshift boat carrying eight Cuban immigrants capsized off the Florida coast Sunday, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Surveillance video released by the Florida agency shows waves overpowering the vessel, hurling six men and two pregnant women into the water.
The Sheriff’s Office says all eight immigrants were rescued by first responders.
They had been at sea for 16 days.
Federal authorities are investigating if immigration action will follow . . .
