Chile’s financial market projects 5.3% economic growth in 2021

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Chilean financial analysts raised their economic forecast from 5.2 percent to 5.3 percent growth in 2021, amid the crisis causes by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Bank of Chile said on Wednesday, March 11th.

According to the bank's Economic Expectations Survey for March, economists also projected a 3.5 percent increase in the gross domestic product (GDP) for 2022, up from the previous monthly estimate of 3.4 percent.
