Mexican authorities inaugurate new facilities of Argos media production company

The Gabriel García Márquez Studios (eGGM), were created in 2016 by Argos Media Group, with the aim of boosting the audiovisual industry in the country.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - To promote the film and television industry committed to social causes in Mexico, federal and state authorities inaugurated this Wednesday the new facilities of the production company Argos Media Group.

Producer and journalist Epigmenio Ibarra inaugurated the Gabriel García Márquez (eGGM) studios, which promise to improve Mexican film production for digital or streaming platforms.

Ibarra expressed his gratitude for the opportunity Mexico gave Argos to emerge as an independent in 1993, a path that has now been followed by close to 50 independent production companies in the country.
