Rotting Tomatoes and Lithium Grease Mislead Drug Detection Dogs in Argentina
The 408 kilos of cocaine were in a truck and were seized in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, after having circumvented a checkpoint in Salta. The drug bricks, covered with lithium grease, had been placed in the center of the load, entirely surrounded by crates of rotten tomatoes to throw off sniffer dogs.
