RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil recorded 1,022 new Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, according to a Ministry of Health update released yesterday, June 20th. With the addition of the new numbers to the statistics, the country now totals 49,976 deaths as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The balance also counted 34,666 new infections, totaling 1,067,579 confirmed cases. The one million infections mark was passed on Friday, June 19th.
