Brazil’s Judo Wins Four Medals at Brasília’s Grand Slam

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Winning a gold medal with Ketleyn Quadros, Brazil's judo finished the second day of the Brasília Grand Slam on Monday with four medals. Alexia Castilhos and David Lima won the silver, while Maria Portela took the bronze medal.

In weight category 63kg, Brazil won a double. This is because Ketleyn Quadros faced and beat her countrywoman Alexia Castilhos in the final. The bronze medalist at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games won the first Grand Slam in her career, at the age of 32.
