Tokyo 2020: Brazil’s Pigossi and Stefani take bronze in tennis doubles

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian tennis pair Laura Pigossi and Luisa Stefani won the bronze medal in the women's doubles competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games on Friday after defeating Russia's Veronika Kudermétova and Elena Vesniná.

The Brazilians defeated the Russians by two sets to one (4-6, 6-4, 11-9) after losing the first set with a break of their first and last serve, in both cases with Stefani on serve.
