RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a London hospital on Monday afternoon, April 6th, where he is receiving treatment for Covid-19, including oxygen, according to the BBC.
He is conscious and he is not using an artificial ventilator. According to Sky News, the transfer was a preventive measure, in case he were to need the device.
Prime Minister Johnson, 55, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on March 27th.
Earlier, he used Twitter to report that he was in the hospital, under medical advice . . .
