RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A team of Chinese scientists have isolated several antibodies that they claim are "extremely efficient" in preventing the novel coronavirus from penetrating the cells, which can be useful both in treating and preventing Covid-19.
Currently, there is no proven effective treatment for the disease, which has emerged in China and is spreading around the world in the form of a pandemic that has infected over 850,000 people and killed 42,000.
