Coronavirus Deaths in Europe Now Outnumber Those in China

The total number of cases in China is still higher than in Europe (80,894 in Asia and 80,529 in Europe)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of deaths caused by the Coronavirus in Europe exceeds that of China, according to data collected up to midnight on Wednesday, March 18th. There are 3,445 recorded deaths (in 25 of 48 states), 218 more than the 3,237 reported in China.

The total number of Chinese cases is still higher than in Europe (80,894 in the Asian country and 80,529 in Europe), but the majority of patients in China have recovered, while in Europe the opposite is true. There are 72,237 people still sick in Europe, of whom 3 . . .
