RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Covid-19 has caused the death of 1,109 people in the past 24 hours in Brazil. As a result, the total number of deaths since March from the novel coronavirus disease has reached 57,070, according to data announced by the Ministry of Health and available on its website.
