Covid-19: 33.4 million Brazilians have received one vaccine shot, 17.1 million both doses (May 5)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of people vaccinated against Covid-19 in Brazil with at least one dose reached 33,404,333 on Wednesday, May 5, the equivalent of 15.77% of the total population.

In the past 24 hours, 523,035 people were immunized, according to data collected by the media outlet consortium from the secretariats of 23 states.

Among the over 33 million people immunized, 17,039,463 were administered the second dose, which represents 8.05% of the population fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus. In the past 24 hours, 315,702 people were administered this . . .
