After Búzios and Manaus, Protesters in Juiz de Fora Call for Trade to Reopen

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Monday, December 28th, a group comprising shopkeepers, employees and clients staged a protest calling for trade to be reopened in the city of Juiz de Fora in the state of Minas Gerais (MG).

The rally coincides with the scenarios in Búzios (Rio de Janeiro) and Manaus (Amazonas), where the population took to the streets to demand the reopening of the economy.

Currently in the red phase of restrictions, the city of Juiz de Fora does not authorize establishments considered 'non-essential' to operate. The new decree provides for stricter rules in the period between . . .
