Argentina warns about a possible second wave of coronavirus infections

The Argentinean Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, said that in almost all jurisdictions there have been increases in the number of cases in recent days

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Argentina's Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, said this Friday, March 19, that there is a possibility that in the coming weeks the country will be immersed in a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

"We are starting to see in almost all jurisdictions a trend of increasing cases. [...] The second wave is a concrete possibility in Argentina, we have to prepare ourselves", informed Vizzotti during a press conference.

During the Federal Health Council, the country's health situation was analyzed and it was confirmed that the Government's central premises are to "minimize the entry . . .
