The tool, which serves as a document within the country, gathers information on inoculation obtained from the Federal Vaccination Registry, according to the Argentine media group ‘Clarín’.

The application will soon also have information on PCR results and immunization certificates for sons and daughters. “For the first time, we have a unified and digital registry of all the people to whom the vaccine was actually given,” the head of the Secretariat of Public Innovation, Micaela Sanchez, has pointed out.

Meanwhile, the country continues with its vaccination plan, which has achieved the application of 4,163,858 doses so far, with more than 3.8 million people inoculated with the first dose and more than 683,000 with the second.

To carry out the immunization campaign, Argentina has already received more than 6.7 million shots, while the Argentine government has distributed more than 5.5 million of these among its provinces, according to Télam agency.

The presidential advisor Cecilia Nicolini has pointed out that within the “multi vaccine strategy” decided by the Argentine government, negotiations with Cuba and India for the acquisition of more vaccines are on their way.

Nicolini did not rule out the possibility of continuing talks also with the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which was one of the first with which the Government had contact, but the negotiations were suspended.

In regards to vaccination, a new case of irregular immunization has occurred again in Argentina, this time due to an “administrative error” in the province of Santa Fe, where 100 employees of Cultura, who are not over 70 years of age and do not belong to vulnerable groups, have been inoculated.
