RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil, one of the countries hardest hit by the pandemic, reported on Thursday 2,027 deaths and 45,178 infections by the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the government, whose management of the health crisis was again questioned in an academic study.
