By · July 26, 2020 · 2 min read

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil saw over 50,000 new Covid-19 cases recorded in 24 hours for the fourth consecutive day. According to the Ministry of Health’s (MS) report released yesterday, July 25th, 51,147 people were infected with the novel coronavirus in 24 hours.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, the daily recorded figure tends to be lower due to the challenge of feeding the databanks by the municipal and state secretariats. On Tuesdays, the case numbers are typically higher due to the weekend backlogs being updated.
