Brazil Counts 2.7 Million Cases and 93,600 Deaths by Covid-19 (August 1st)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Since the start of the pandemic, Brazil has registered 2.7 million people infected by Covid-19, according to a report released on Saturday, August 1st, by the Ministry of Health.

The figure is 45,400 higher than that released in the preceding survey. The updated number of recovered individuals is 1.86 million. There are still 748,59 thousand patients under follow-up.
