In 4 months, Brazil has only partially vaccinated 20% of its population

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - By Monday, Brazil had vaccinated 42.3 million people with at least one dose. This means that a little over 4 months after the start of the immunization campaign against Covid-19, 20.1% of the population is partially immunized.

Of this total, 20.8 million, or 9.9% of Brazilians, are now fully immunized after being administered two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine. All immunizers currently in use in Brazil - Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and CoronaVac - require two doses.

Although the rate achieved is important, it signals that the pace of Covid-19 vaccination . . .
