RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has hit the 1.5 million confirmed cases accumulated since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The number was disclosed in the Ministry of Health's daily update. With 42,223 new cases, the total yesterday, July 3rd, reached 1,539,081, an increase of 2.8 percent compared to Thursday, July 2nd, when 1,496,858 cases were reported.
